Here are two touching romantic marriage proposal true stories to warm your heart:

Marriage proposal story 1

"What's on television tonight?" Ruby asked as I looked through the TV guide. I said there was a program on filmmaking I wanted to see at eight. Filming was a hobby of mine. What Ruby did not know was that I had made a film of the two of us over the last four years and at the end, I was going to pop the question.

At eight, I asked her to come watch television with me. Sitting down with her tea, I turned on the VCR. The look on her face was priceless, as I told her how much I loved her, on television. Clips starting playing of vacations and other memorable occasions we shared. She laughed at some parts and testified through others. At the end, I asked her to marry me. Jumping onto my lap, she said yes, as I slipped an engagement ring on her finger.

Marriage proposal story 2

Amanda and I go to the beach every weekend during the summer. That is where we met snorkeling three years ago. She had never tried this so I taught her and she has loved to snorkel ever since.

We took our gear and drove to the lake. It was a beautiful day and it did not take us long to head for the water. We swam out to a group of underwater rocks that we loved to explore. Once, I even found a wedding band stuck between the rocks along with a child's toy truck and a few other things. I took Amanda's hand and then pointed so swim further along. There, below the waves was a board. She waited as I dove down and bought it up. Handing it to her she read, "Will you marry me Amanda?" Treading water while she wrapped her arms around my neck, she nodded her head yes.
